The fun begins on June 11, 2011, from 8:00 am till 1:00. at 7402 W. Lake Katherine Dr.
Hot Dogs, ice cream and chips are available for purchase. A raffle will be conducted for attendees, and winners must be present.
The 20 acre lake is home to Muskie, large-mouth bass, walleye, channel catfish, and bluegill, plus a variety of other fish
and wildlife. I tried to take a picture of the fish, look closly. Can you see them?
If you want to fish you have to purchase tickets. Tickets are $15 for residents, and $25 for nonresidents. A limited number
of tickets will be sold. On normal days at Lake Katherine, there is no fishing allowed and a fine of $150.00 will be issued.
Don’t worry about a license, because for the Family Fishing Day ,June 11 th. no license is required.
If fishing isn’t your thing, you can enjoy other activities at Lake Katherine like, hike a scenic trail that is
just 1mile around the lake, ( fairly easy to walk)
relax by the man-made waterfall which travels a distance of over 300 feet.(Even though the waterfall is man-made it’s beautiful.)
You don’t have to go far to spot Heron, kingfishers, beavers, and muskrats that live along the banks of Lake.
Lake Kathryn is a friendly Lake where you’ll be greeted personally.
